Wang-gung-ri Historic Site
Located in Wang-gung-myun, Iksan, the site is a transferred and separate capital during the Baejke Mu-wang period. Through excavation and research since 1989, it has been found through records that the site was established during Mu-wang period and was maintained and managed from Baekje to Koryeo period. It is assumed that the place was used as a palace or related facility until it was used as a facility for temple. Various forms of buildings are built on this site, including outer foundation after creating a flat ground by erecting stone embankment along the city wall.
Wang-gung-ri Ocheungseoktap (Five-stories pagoda)
Erected inside the castle, Wang-gung-ri Ocheungseoktap (National Treaure No. 289) and its relics are classified as national treasures. The cherry blossoms of April are as beautiful as the cultural heritages of Baekje.
