Seodongyo
Seodongyo is the first folk song (Hyangga) of Korea, and the song is about the romance between Muwang, 30th king of Baekje, and Princess Sunhwa of Shilla. Seodong's name is Jing, born as a son of dragon living in the pond south of capital of Baekje. He made his living by picking yam, and people called him Madong (Boy who sells yam). Madong hears the beauty of Princess Sunhwa and spreads rumors through children by giving them yam. The children sang a song around the town as they were told--"Princess Sunhwa secretly opens the door, hugs Madong at night."
